Court Street Bagels

Court Street Bagels is entirely locally owned, with no outside investment in its single Cobble Hill storefront — though that ownership hasn't been continuous: the business changed hands in January 2024 after its founder of twenty years was pushed out in a landlord dispute. It's now owned and operated by Adam Alsoora, who also runs the competing Smith Street Bagels a few blocks away. As a business under new ownership for barely two years, it has little public labor, environmental, or sourcing record to date beyond that ownership story.
