Form + Flow is owned and run by Shelly Yang, who founded it in Long Island City in 2019 and still teaches on its own schedule. Ownership sits entirely with her: no outside investor, no parent company, and no franchising. As a two-studio independent it has little public labor or environmental track record to date; what the record does show is a business accountable to the students who walk in rather than to outside capital.
