Kora

Kora is fully owned and run by the two co-founders who started it as a pandemic-era doughnut pop-up in a Woodside apartment, self-funding their March 2025 Sunnyside storefront rather than taking on outside investors. Camara still runs the kitchen and Borja still runs operations, with no professional management layer between them and the business. As a single storefront open less than two years, it has little public labor or environmental track record yet — the clean read reflects its size and age more than a fully vetted history.
