Edmmond Studios is still run day-to-day by co-founder Juan Calvente, but a minority stake has belonged to investor Jaime Bergel since 2016, and the brand is now raising fresh capital from a crowdfunding campaign and new outside investors. Most of its clothing is made in Spain and Portugal, but it names no suppliers or factories anywhere, including for the roughly 10% of its line made in Asia. The business ultimately answers to Calvente and his co-founders, but increasingly to the outside capital funding its growth.
