Blue Scorpion Investments is a New York early-stage venture firm founded in March 2016 by Jamison Ernest and Gautam Ahuja, a former Credit Suisse managing director, and it launched a second fund in February 2023 aimed at up to 15 consumer product companies. Its wider portfolio includes quip, Eight Sleep, Boisson, and Material Kitchen. The two Ferret companies below sit at different ends of its history: it names Matchaful in its current portfolio, and says it was the first investor in Van Leeuwen, ahead of the equity rounds Strand Equity and NextWorld Evergreen later led.
